I  have asthma. Can I fast?

There is little to suggest that fasting itself causes problems if one has asthma. However, It's a good idea to discuss the plans for fasting with one's doctor. One should not stop taking one's asthma medications without speaking to one's doctor first. Doctor can tell whether or not it's possible to adjust one's medicine to suit one's plans during the fasting period.
