According to a World Health Organisation report, 13 of the world’s most polluted cities are in India, which includes the capital city of New Delhi. With the increasing amount of exposure we face to environmental allergens and pollutants, it really is no surprise that almost 34% of Delhi’s population has been exposed to various breathing problems – such as asthma, COPD and bronchitis. Despite the number of people who have them, the awareness about breathing problems, and how allergens and pollutants affect one’s lungs is still very low.

Breathefree (Cipla’s public service initiative) understands the growing need for people to understand and be aware of the types of breathing problems and their treatment. So, we started a movement called ‘#saveyourlungsdilli’ to help you get all the information and support you need. Along with this movement, Breathefree has also launched its first, one-of-a-kind helpline, which gives you free support and information, around-the-clock.

Whether you have a breathing problem or know someone who does or even think that you might have one, you can simply call the helpline and ask Breathefree to organise a free lung check-up camp in your neighbourhood.
So, it’s time to #saveyourlungsdilli and breathe free.
